Hello All

First post on the Bay. Been growing for a little while now and have been a long time Bodhi fan since the start. Have grown a few of his strains from clone but this was the first time growing from seed. These beans are testers that i received about a year ago maybe a little more. When i popped them i ended up with two plants to flower. Was the winter and temperatures at the grow spot I was at were tempermental at that. The two plants that I was left with were something special. The female had the most pungent gassy fuel, with the most expressive strawberry terpene profile I have smelled. Since the first time I took a wiff of Kyle Kushmans Strawberry cough. Luckily I kept the other plant which was a male and quickly threw him in flower. He had a very close resemblance in structure to his sister, so i figured maybe it'll all work out an he will bring something else to the table. Well with that I ended up with about 400 seeds. I popped a few of the f2's for the outdoor season. These where planted straight in ground, no amending just the native soil, straight well water. Not one tea or feeding all summer. These ladies did so good outside. I mean strong resistance to everything. Not one bug bite, pathogen or deficiency all season. An they where in a area with heavy bug flow. So fast forward to the fall and the flowers owned up to there success all season. Mid season I decided to pop about 10 beans of the f2's again. I ended up with 5 females, 3 males, two seeds didn't germ(thinking to much heat as they where on my boiler). The 5 females I kept ended up getting huge an transplanted from 3gals to the 7gal homes they are in now. They are in a 2.98 bag of soil and compost with a little added peat because I needed to stretch out the soil I had bought. I also added a little Green Gro dry amendments to the mix that was laying around. They have gotten strictly well water since day one. The well we have is pretty rich in dissolved minerals so it really helps with the plants. So far we are in about week 3. Each plant is under there own 400 watt cmh from HTG supply. Just de-fanned the lowers and cleaned them up tonight. This is a first time running cmh. They are chugging along and are loving life. Heavy drinkers....This strain is something really nice..There are a few nice phenos i have scene since the first pop of the f2's in the spring as we'll the ones that are in flower now. The plants outside showed two distinct phenos one was very og bud structure. Nice dense balls tight to themselves. Close node spacing and nice og structure to the growth of the plant. These plants showed a very pungent fuel, gas, petroleum funk with the heavy sweet strawberry. The other was a more solid bud all the way up the branch. Nice solid thick colas though. Not to much fluff to them. Both phenos showed the strawberry terpene profile. The funk of gas in the taller straight bud structure was more of a subtle tone. Both had a nice heavy cerebral high to them. But smoke to much of the golfball dom bud structure pheno. An you will be napping on the couch. Great for anxiety during the day. The phenos inside now are pretty close to those same ones outside. A few plants are showing a heavy duck foot , three leaf set with the golfball buds growing, and the others are a more closer bud set all the way from top to bottom. Even the side branching grows tight to the main colas. Stank is all there as it was with there siblings. One pheno is really stout and bushy. All phenos I have scene are bushes that love to be scrogged, staked, or just left to there own devices. Anyway you train you will get a nice structure. With nice even vigor to each pheno. Going into the weeks ahead I may give them a watering with some organic inputs but we shall see. I do have a male from this round that I put aside to do a f3 with. As well I used the father pollen from the f1 I had received to do a open pollenation f2bc1 on the females I had outside. Planning to pop some of those for the next run as well for the outdoor 2018. I also have 5 other seedlings that I had started that will go into flower next...if you are in the market for a great mix of terps an hearty growth this is a great strain for you. I have run the SSDD by itself and it definitely brings some great beauty to anything it touches...and the nepali og in the Strawberry milk is a lovely accent to the lineage in the SSDD. Sorry for the loooooong running paragraph and crap grammar ... I got a green thumb though not great grammar lol...Thank you B for this amazing cross. I hope to spread the beans in the future once I take it to f3 and see how the f2bc1 does. Will post some pictures of the plants in the am. Thank you for reading. I saw these beans available at Great Lakes genetics(just a fyi)...I know B named her Strawberry Sunshine but before I had seen that I named her Strawberry Daydreams. Was listening to the Beatles and it just fit lol..Well hope you enjoyed. And will have a few more threads up on some other varietals and projects in the works. :abducted:
